I Thank Thee That Thou Hast Heard Me

A Leadership Insight from Vision Multiplier International https://visionmultiplierllc.com/

I was reflecting on these scriptures this morning and the thought that, as leaders, we have many dreams, goals and initiatives that seem dead with no viable options to the natural mind – based on what we see.

But I hear the Word of the Lord reminding us that when Jesus arrives and takes charge of the situation even the dead things shall rise again.

All hope may feel lost but in Christ, we have the hope of glory! Old things are passed away and behold all things become brand new.

Thank you Lord!

Maybe we are facing a “Lazarus like”situation today in our family, our health, our minds, our peace, our businesses, our community or even our country.

No matter the challenge and bleakness of the moment, we, the believers, still have hope in Christ – if we faint not in our faith!

Let us be reminded of a “truth” example found in the Bible:

“And when he [Jesus] thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.”

‭‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭43‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We can also find comfort in knowing how Jesus was moved in the moment when many were weeping and mourning the death of Lazarus, the scripture says He groaned in the spirit:

“When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,”

‭‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This scripture equally validates other scriptures that tells us that we have a high priest who is touched by our infirmities and cares for us – so much so that He even calls us His friend.

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”

‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Amen and at the end of the day or the conclusion of the matter,  He is our lifeline that we should hang on to for dear life as our very lives and salvation are dependent on Him and His provision, His comfort, His protection and His love.

So whatever the situation we are facing and no matter how large the giants appear, we still have that blessed hope in Christ Jesus because when He arrives the impossible becomes possible!

Maybe we are facing what feels like a “dry bones” season and we need a Word from the Lord to strengthen our faith. The Bible reassures us that even then, there is still hope:

“The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

and caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.

Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:”

‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭37‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Amen

To God be the glory for all the wonderful things that He has done in our lives and for who He is to us.

Words cannot explain or describe the precious gift that Christ is to those who follow Him.

In conclusion, let us, the leaders, execute upon our right now faith to just trust, obey and praise the King of Kings and Lord of Lords for hearing us and  for  all of His great and mighty works!

In Jesus Name, Amen.

Be Blessed!

Be a Blessing!

“Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him! Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid.

And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.

And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin.

Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.”

‭‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭36‬, ‭41‬-‭44‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Ministry of Reconciliation

A Leadership Insight from Vision Multiplier International https://visionmultiplierllc.com/

I was reflecting on these scriptures this morning  and the thought that we, the leaders, must develop our spiritual muscles to process, release and free our minds and hearts of life’s hurts.

Hurts may come from moments like: a break up of a meaningful relationship, conflict or division within the church, being marginalized at work or within our community, losing a job or being affected by a reorganization and the associated sense that we no longer have control – or matter.

Life can deliver sudden shifts that we did not see coming or despite our seeing the change we realize that we do not have the skills or power to protect ourselves from the tsunami of change fast enough and we just – get HIT!

Selah

Separate from the actual event, there are emotional processes and scars that can build strongholds in our minds and hearts to cause us to wonder if we even matter, are still relevant or can still add value.

So how do we work through the rejection, get centered again and restore our beliefs that we began questioning during the dark moments?

There are some fundamental truths that still remain as Christ is still our hope of glory:

  • His never ending love prepared the way for us for days like these – giving us secret access through His spirit to lay down the emotional burdens and memories at the cross.
  • We can trust Him because He is the only one who can determine our worth.
  • Christ has given us the ministry of reconciliation as the path to healing and wholeness.

The Bible says it this way:

“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He (Christ) provides this for us – we just need to accept it and let Him in.

Thank you lord!

Reconciliation is defined as:

“ the restoration of friendly relations” and “the action of making one view or belief compatible with another.”

The definition emphasizes that reconciliation makes one view or belief compatible with another- in short, aligning our views with those of Christ!

Our God is a god of restoration and He has equipped us with the tools and methods necessary to be restored.

We see and accept these restoration promises which position us to be in the place of “more than enough” and to trust that our “latter days shall be greater than our former”.

The Bible tells us:

“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.”

‭‭Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“But as for you [Satan], ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭50‬:‭20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“But … he shall restore sevenfold; He shall give all the substance of his house.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭6‬:‭31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.”

‭‭Haggai‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Now thanks be to God for His indescribable gift [which is precious beyond words]!”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭15‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Such hope [in God’s promises] never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭5‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Amen

So in closing, it is my prayer that we will hold steadfast to our faith, fear not and rest in the peace that we are being restored:

“And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭50‬:‭19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; And the King of glory shall come in.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭24‬:‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.”

‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Amen and it is so!

Be Blessed!

Be a Blessing!

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭KJV‬‬
